Supervisor Dashboard
How supervisors monitor team performance, station statuses, and production metrics from a single view.
Overview
The supervisor dashboard provides a bird's-eye view of your entire team's production floor. Unlike the operator dashboard, which focuses on a single station, this view shows all stations simultaneously, aggregated shift metrics, and analytical charts that help you identify problems and make decisions in real time.
Station Grid
All stations in your team are displayed as cards in a responsive grid. Each card shows the station name, current operator (if someone is checked in), the active work order, parts progress (as a mini progress bar), and the machine condition indicator. Cards are color-bordered: green (Running), amber (Idle), red (Down). Clicking a station card opens its detail view with full history.
Shift Stats Bar
At the top of the dashboard, a summary bar displays real-time shift metrics: total parts produced across all stations, number of active handoffs waiting to be reviewed, count of open NCRs requiring disposition, total downtime minutes recorded, and the number of operators currently checked in. These numbers update automatically via background refresh.
Production Analytics
Below the station grid, charts visualize key trends: throughput over time (parts per hour), station utilization rate (running time vs. total time), and a breakdown of downtime reasons. Use the date range selector to view the current shift, today, this week, or a custom range. These analytics help you spot bottlenecks — for example, if one station consistently has lower throughput, it may need maintenance or operator retraining.
Handoff Review Queue
A dedicated section lists all recent handoffs from your team that have not yet been acknowledged by the incoming operator. This lets you monitor whether shift transitions are happening smoothly. If a handoff goes unacknowledged for too long, it may indicate that the incoming operator has not arrived or has not checked in.
Alerts and Flags
The dashboard surfaces automatic alerts for situations that need attention: a station that has been in "Down" status for more than a configured threshold, a work order that is past its due date, or an NCR that has been open for more than 24 hours without disposition. These alerts appear as badges on the relevant station cards and in the notification center.
Actions Available to Supervisors
From this dashboard, supervisors can: reassign work orders between stations (drag-and-drop or use the assignment menu), approve or disposition NCRs, acknowledge handoffs on behalf of absent operators, generate and share invite codes for new team members, and drill into any station's detail view. You cannot modify organization-level settings or billing from this page — those require Org Admin access.
